On 16.09.2024. Mrs. Mila Zaharieva- President of IFC GROUP attended the opening of the school year at the National Cultural Education Complex with Italian Language Studies in Sofia.
Since this school year, the school has launched a Fashion Design classroom for the students of grades 4 to 7 at the NCCC, initiated and partnered by IFC
The project aims to support children who bring their creativity, to develop skills in expressing creativity and to learn to actually make their own patterns from fabric, as well as to work with sewing machines.
Building an affinity for the beautiful, fine motor skills and confidence in the children’s abilities – this is the goal of the team that will work with the children.
What we have learned from this training course will be presented as a showcase of the models made by the children at the end of the school year.
The business of supporting education in a practical way – not in higher education, not in secondary education, but in primary education, because that is where the foundations are laid in
supporting the development of the individual, supporting our children!
This pilot project is part of the IFC training panel and will be implemented in partnership with IFDA /Italian Fashion Academy/ Milan.
It is the idea and the wish of IFC and Mrs. Mila Zaharieva that this training venture will be a base to build upon in other schools in Bulgaria.
