On 02.12.2023 the first ever fashion event at international level in Bulgaria took place – “Mad Mood Milano Fashion Week is looking for Bulgarian talents”, organized by International Fashion Connection – exclusive representative of Mad Mood Milano Fashion Week for Bulgaria.
International Fashion Connection is the first organization in Bulgaria that aims to create interactions between Bulgarian creatives and prominent names in the field of fashion by realizing international contacts and partnerships through events, exhibitions and trainings.
The founder and president of the organization is Mrs. Mila Zaharieva, who supports Bulgarian designers, actively contributing to the development of the fashion industry in Bulgaria.
The event took place at one of the most emblematic historical places in Bulgaria, gathering the creativity and culture of eras back in time – the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
13 Bulgarian brands, 20 designers who showed impressive looks on the catwalk, entered the race for the grand prize of the event – participation in Mad Mood Milano Fashion Week.

The Bulgarian designer Nikolay Bozhilov , who once again stated his individual style, impressive collections of students from the National Academy of Art with teacher Nikolay Bozhilov, the young designer Ivette Apostolova and her fashion “IVETTE BIANCHI” with designer Ivette Apostolova, “Lenecra” with designers Gergana Dimova and Maria Popova, who presented their artistic style, the innovative brand “Venetta Fashion”, students from the Department of Design at AMTII, Burgas. Plovdiv and their captivating visions, “Wolf Walley” by the talented Milena Petrova, designer Radoslava Lazarova and the fashion brand “BLINK by Radi Lazarova”, which presented aristocratic details characteristic of the brand; “Margo Moda” Margo Art with designer Margarita Peteva, which showed unique results of clothes that get a “second chance”, the rising fashion label “AURELINE”, which is focused on highlighting female individuality, “Chi sei”, which made a memorable debut on the catwalk, the inimitable Stoyan Radichev, who knows how to dress women in beauty, and International Fashion Academy, who presented revolutionary fashion collections by designers Stilyana Djongova, Natalia Penkova, Maria Dimitrova and Natali Mark – Handmade with designer Natalia Markova.
The event was made possible with the kind support of. Digital agency “Fresh Vision”-Diana NikoLova took care of the overall attractive vision of the event on social networks. Makeup and Hair Academy, “DVisio Makeup Academy” headed by Diana Konova, “Nicoleta Serafimova Hair Academy” headed by Nikoleta Serafimova Nikoleta Serafimova created the impressive looks of the models modeling on the runway. The premium partner of the event, “K-time” K-Time Elegance , took care of the luxurious gifts of the guests, as well as the stunning glamour in the hairstyles of the models. Prosecco “Botega” gave a sip of unique taste and colorful flavors that all guests of the event had the opportunity to enjoy!

The first special recognition went to “IVETTE BIANCHI”.
The award was presented by Giacomo Chiarolla – Communication Manager of Confindustria Bulgaria.
The special partner of the event “Singer Bulgaria” presented a gift, a sewing machine, of the brand “Chi sei”.
Mrs. Silvia Dzhagarova, owner of the magazine. “Special banker” awarded Stoyan Radichev with a prize – a special presentation of the brand in the magazine.
“BTC Texile Group” supported a new collection of “Venetta Fashion” by providing materials for its production.
“Maserati Auto Italia” accelerated the excitement of the event with an award presented by the marketing manager of the representation, Ms. Hristina Yordanova, who awarded the designer Stoyan Radichev.
The designers of “Lenecra” were awarded by “CODE FASHION TV” with a professional film shoot for the brand.
The President of the Fashion Academy, prof. Lyubomir Stoykov, honored “IVETTE BIANCHI”, Zhou Meiqi and Iva Georgieva, students at the Fashion Academy with a special coverage of their brands in the Bulgarian-English magazine “Fashion Lifestyle Magazine”.
The makeup and hair academies, “Dvisio Makeup Academy” and “Nicoleta Serafimova Hair Academy”, supported by International Fashion Connection, passed on the experience of their trainees in the field work at an international fashion event and awarded certificates of participation and professional experience personally to their trainees.
The grand prize, for the participation in “Mad Mood Milano Fashion Week” in February 2024, was won by the Bulgarian brand “Lenecra”, which was awarded personally by Mrs. Mariana Micheli.
The surprise of the evening was the second grand prize for participation in “Mad Mood Milano Fashion Week”, which was awarded by the President of International Fashion Connection, Mrs. Mila Zaharieva. “BLINK by Radi Lazarova” was the second brand to receive the opportunity to participate in Fashion Week Italy.
The awards were an expression of the common cooperation between Mrs. Mila Zaharieva and Mrs. Mariana Micheli, who together, supporting the development of Bulgarian fashion, create new fashion worlds for designers in Bulgaria.
Talented children from the Children’s Support Association took part in the fashion show.
The guests of the event were immersed in the world of musical art with the performances of Cecil Sabri, Ivayla Matsina and Victoria Assenova – ViKa.
Beautiful images created by Veneta Pavlova were displayed on the red carpet to the event.
Participating in the fashion show was the singer Tsvetti Radoycheva, who presented her new single “I Breathe Only for You”.
The host of the event was the great Bulgarian actor Nikolay Sotirov.
