From 9 to 14 October 2024, the annual edition of Serbia Fashion Week – the biggest fashion event in Serbia – took place. The Fashion Week impressed with a varied program that included glamorous fashion shows, artistic exhibitions, educational seminars and panel discussions. The event provides a unique platform for the exchange of ideas and collaboration between fashion, design and textile industry professionals. Every year it brings together talents from Serbia and abroad, becoming a stage for international fashion innovation. Participating in the Gala evening was the well-known on the Bulgarian catwalk Suzana Peric Brand, who was a special guest at the international event “Balkan Open Door” – International Fashion in Dubai – looking for Balkan talents, organized by IFC Group. French designer Eric Tibusch also presented his fashion inspirations.
The special guest of the event was the team of International Fashion Connection Group /IFC GROUP/ – the authoritative Bulgarian organization committed to the highly responsible activity for effective interaction of Bulgarian artists with prominent names in the field of foreign fashion and the creation and development of international contacts and partnerships through events, exhibitions and training.
As a token of appreciation to the organization of Serbia Fashion Week, Mrs. Zaharieva presented a special statuette, made by the great Bulgarian sculptor Zhivko Sedlarski, to Mrs. Svetlana Horvat, President of Serbia Fashion Week. Ms Zaharieva praised the support for the performances and development of the international artists of the Fashion Week in Serbia under the leadership of Ms Horvat.
The culmination of the official gala ceremony, which took place in Novi Sad, was the presentation of a special award to the Serbian designer George Styler by the President of the IFC Group, Mrs. Mila Zaharieva. He was awarded with an invitation to participate in the prestigious international fashion event “Balkan Open Door – International Fashion in Dubai”, organized by IFC Group.
Serbia Fashion Week 2024 consolidated its role as one of the key fashion events and the participation of International Fashion Connection underlined the importance of international partnerships in the fashion industry.
