President of International Fashion Connection and founder of the BALKAN OPEN DOOR (BOD) International Platform\u2014Business, Fashion, and Art \u2014 Mila Zaharieva\u2014officially introduced Marina Banovi\u0107 as president of the BOD national chapter in Montenegro during the Fashion Bang event, which took place in the Old Town of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n\n

Just a few weeks after the official launch of the Balkan Open Door \u2013 Business, Fashion & Art International Platform in Sofia, Bulgaria, the national representative office for Montenegro was officially announced.<\/p>\n\n

Marina Banovi\u0107 \u2013 the new face of Balkan Open Door (BOD) for Montenegro: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The election of Marina Banovic as president of the national representative body is a natural extension of this vision. She is a well-known figure in the Montenegrin fashion scene, a designer, the founder of Marina Banovic Atelier, and an internationally recognized artist. <\/p>\n\n

Her introduction as chair of the board of directors took place during Fashion Bang\u2014a fashion platform that transformed the iconic Trg od oru\u017eja in Kotor\u2019s Old Town into a stage for contemporary fashion and regional creative exchange.<\/p>\n\n

Fashion Bang brought together designers from Montenegro and the region, with the program featuring Marina Banovi\u0107, Predrag \u0110ukni\u0107, Marko Krsti\u0107, and Sanya Matijevi\u0107. The event was held with the support of the Municipality of Kotor and was organized by sisters Milena Ma\u010di\u0107 and Jelena Ka\u0161elan. <\/p>\n\n

The highlight of the day was Marina Banovi\u0107\u2019s fashion show in the square in Kotor\u2019s Old Town. The designer presented a collection inspired by the image of the Montenegrin woman, transforming Kotor\u2019s historic setting into a natural stage for the convergence of tradition and contemporary fashion. <\/p>\n\n

\u201cThis step is a continuation of the philosophy behind the creation of Balkan Open Door\u2014the platform is meant to be a network of people, countries, and ideas that open their doors to one another. Because when people connect, countries grow closer, and when the right doors are opened, talent knows no boundaries,\u201d says Mila Zaharieva.<\/p>\n\n
