On June 13, the Anel Gallery in Sofia became the venue for one of the season’s most innovative fashion events—the POP-UP BAZAAR Fashion Experience, organized by the International Fashion Connection Group (IFC Group).
For the first time in Bulgaria, the traditional pop-up market format was expanded into a comprehensive fashion & art experience that brought together designer brands, fashion shows, professional photo shoots, live music, and an art exhibition.
The event is part of the international platform Balkan Open Door – Fashion & Art, created by IFC Group with the mission of creating new opportunities for contemporary artists and building bridges between fashion, art, and cultural exchange.
Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity not only to browse and purchase designer collections at special prices, but also to experience fashion in a new and interactive way.
The highlight of the program was the fashion shows, which showcased the latest collections from the participating brands. Guests saw the models in motion, styled and presented in a real-life setting, which allowed them to get a closer look at each designer’s concept and identity.
For the first time within this type of event, professional fashion photo shoots were held featuring models wearing the collections of the participating brands. Photographer Vladislav Marinov and videographer Emil Kolev captured special visual stories that will support the designers’ communication and positioning even after the event has ended.
DJ Devora created an incredible musical atmosphere; with her set, she transformed the space into a modern fashion destination that blended style, emotion, and creative energy.
In line with the concept of Balkan Open Door – Fashion & Art, the POP-UP BAZAAR Fashion Experience also featured the exhibition “States” by artist Irina Ivanova, presented at the Anel Gallery and curated by Monika Tosheva. The artworks created a natural dialogue with the fashion collections and transformed the event into a true encounter between different forms of art.
The event confirmed the trend that today’s audience is looking not just for an opportunity to shop, but for a holistic experience that combines aesthetics, culture, emotion, and personal contact with the artists.
With POP-UP BAZAAR Fashion Experience, the International Fashion Connection Group is launching a new format for showcasing fashion brands in Bulgaria—a format that transcends the traditional boundaries between commerce, art, and cultural content.
Because the future of fashion lies in experiences that bring people, ideas, and creativity together in a shared space.
