International Fashion Connection /IFC/ held a joint creative meeting with the students and the management of the “Princess Maria Louisa” Vocational School of Clothing to discuss the IFC’s brief for the production of a collection by the school’s graduates on the theme of “Arab Culture”. The idea for the invitation comes from the upcoming visit of Internacional Fashion Dubai to Sofia in early June this year, in the International Fashion Dubai – looking for Balkan talents competition, organized by IFC, which will bring together the traditions and culture of the Balkan countries that will present their collections in Sofia. The special prize of the event will be the participation of a Balkan brand on the international fashion stage of International Fashion Dubai, which will be personally awarded by Cheryl Diaz, President of International Fashion Dubai.

In order to showcase the Bulgarian talents in the field of fashion, as well as to support the development of their practical skills, IFC has set a creative task for the students of the “Princess Maria Louisa” School to produce artistic sketches that will go through a selection of a joint professional team, including: Mila Zaharieva – President of Internacional Fashion Connection, Ms. Tatyana Filipova, Mr. Mario Yonev, Snezhana Hristova – manager clients of “BTC TEXTILE GROUP”, who will provide as a donation the fabrics needed for the production of the models for the collection with which the children from the “Kniagi Maria Luisa” will participate in the fashion event International Fashion Dubai – looking for Balkan talents.
